Charlie works for a tailor. The tailor, upon finding a regret note for a party in a customer's coat pocket, decides to impersonate his customer, and attend the party in his place. Unbeknownst to the tailor, Charlie visits the same house to see a friend who happens to be the cook. When guards approach the kitchen, the cook tells Charlie to leave. Charlie ends up at the party upstairs, exposes his boss, and is the life of the party.
